Business Immigration (Permanent Residence)

Canada welcomes entrepreneurs and/or those who have business experience. Foreign nationals who have experience managing businesses may qualify for permanent residence through the Entrepreneur Program.


To qualify, you must meet the following requirements;
  • have at least two (2) years of business experience
  • have a net worth of at least $300,000CAD, obtained legally
  • meet the selection criteria for the Entrepreneur Program
Selection Criteria
Foreign nationals applying for permanent residence under the Entrepreneur Program will be assessed based on experience, education, age, language proficiencies, and adaptability.

A minimum score of 35 points is required in order to qualify. Canadian immigration visa officers will determine your score based on the documentation you provide. An interview may be required. During an interview, a visa officers may ask you to clarify, or explain the information you have provided. An interview is also requested if there are any incosistancies with your application.
